Data Controller
The Data Controller is Babelee S.r.l., based in Via Palermo 8, 20121 Milan (Italy), with regard to any processing of the personal data of Babelee Users. Babelee has appointed its own Data Protection Officer (DPO) who can be contacted by email at dpo@babelee.com.
Purposes
The data are processed only to perform the service you have requested (e.g. send material, subscribe to the webinar, contact you for a demo). With your consent, the data are processed for direct marketing activities, to carry out the profiling necessary to offer materials based on your interest or services that meet your needs, and to contact you over the phone.

Mandatory or optional Nature of Data Provision
The provision of data is optional, except in cases where the data collected must be used to execute a contract or a service requested by you.
In that case, any possible refusal by you to provide the data makes it impossible for Babelee S.p.A. to execute the assignment.
Data retention and communication
The data will be stored for two years and will not be disclosed to third parties. The data are stored for two years after the user’s last contact.
Recipients of data
The data are used exclusively by Babelee. Third parties who process personal data on behalf of Babelee, for example for IT support services or for the provision of data management systems, are Processors and follow specific instructions.
The Data may also be made available to auditing companies, certification bodies and judicial or police authorities if specific requests are received.
The processing is carried out by the company using computerised tools with methods and according to criteria suitable to guarantee the data security and the processing is based on principles of fairness, lawfulness and transparency, in order to protect your privacy and your rights.
The data will be processed by the Company within the territory of the European Union and the European Economic Area. If it becomes necessary to transfer the Data outside the European Economic Area, Babelee will ensure that the transfer takes place in compliance with the applicable legislation.
Profiling
The data provided by you and acquired through cookies and website browsing are used for profiling purposes.
Purpose and logic of profiling
Profiling is carried out exclusively for the purpose of assessing the user’s interest in the materials and services offered by Babelee in order to contact them directly only in cases where it is confirmed.
Transfer of Personal Data outside the European Economic Area
Babelee does not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area, but uses the sub-processor Doxee for the provision of the service. Doxee, in turn, to provide the service, uses additional sub-processors located in countries outside the European Economic Area, such as data management platforms (HubSpot and Salesforce).
Appropriate Safeguards
The transfer of data outside the EEA is guaranteed in accordance with Chapter V of the EU Regulation:
– by the conclusion between those suppliers and Doxee of a data protection agreement that incorporates the standard clauses required by the European Commission.
Rights of the Data Subject
The data subject has the right, exercisable free of charge at any time, to:
– request access to (and/or a copy of) the Data, as well as further information about the processing;
– request the rectification or completion of the data if they are incomplete and/or out of date;
– request the erasure of the data if it is considered that the processing is not necessary or is unlawful;
– request the restriction of processing by Babelee, if it is considered that the Data are incorrect, unnecessary or unlawfully processed, or if the Data Subject has objected to their processing;
– exercise the right to data portability, i.e. to obtain in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format a copy of the Data provided to Babelee, or to request, if technically feasible, their transfer to another Controller;
– object to the processing of Data, using a legal basis relating to his/her particular situation, considered appropriate to prevent Babelee from processing the Data.
The data subject may exercise the above rights by making a request to the Company, by writing to the email address dataprotection@babelee.com.
The data subject may object at any time to the sending of promotional communications by email through the subscription management page, accessible via the “Unsubscribe” link present in every email communication sent by Babelee.
Finally, the data subject may lodge a complaint with the competent Supervisory Authority (in Italy, the Data Protection Authority [Garante per la protezione dei dati personali]: www.garanteprivacy.it) if he/she believes that the Data processing is contrary to the applicable rules on personal data protection.
